Inking-apparatus. - Relates to inking-rollers of the kind provided with a renewable surface laver of printer's roller composition, and consists in the provision of a moisture-proof covering for the core and means for preventing adhesion of the outer layer to this covering. As shown, the shaft 3 carries a core 4 of printer's. roller composition covered with waterproof material 5. To facilitate the removal of the surface. layer 7, of printer's roller composition, when this is to be renewed, a fabric backing 8 is interposed' between the layers 5, 7. Specification 18189/07 is referred to.
