Special yarns, producing. - In a machine for the manufacture of fancy twisted threads the ground thread m is fed through rollers a, c and over a stationary guide bar k to the spindle. The effect thread o is delivered by rollers b, d round a stationary guide bar n and is then wound around the ground thread m. The guide bars k, n are carried in a support h, which is adjustable in position on a slotted bracket e bv means of a slot i and a nipping-screw g to vary the angle of wind a, Fig. 2, or to vary the distance between the guidebar n and the ground thread m. Separately adjustable supports h<1>, h<2> may be provided as shown in Fig. 3. When producing a certain design the support h or supports h<1>, h<2> remain fixed when once adjusted in position, and the effect thread during its free passage to the ground thread, is free to have an irregular motion and a varying throw o<1> - - o<5>, Fig. 2. As open to inspection under Sect. 91 (3) (a), the Specification states that when producing a yarn having a varying designs the support h is roched. This subject-matter does not appear in the Specification as accepted.
