Abstract
299,031. Soie de Chatillon. Oct. 20, 1927, [Convention date]. Void [Published under Sect. 91 of the Acts]. Doubling and twisting machines with twisting arrangements at delivery.-In a machine for twisting .or doubling threads both the delivery and receiving bobbins are rotated to impart twist to the thread. The thread 6 is delivered from a bobbin 1 on a spindle, 2 rotated by a band 4 and passes through a guide 7 to a driven roller 8 round which it is wrapped. It is then fed by the roller 8 through a guide 12 to a ring spindle 15. A number of threads drawn from delivery bobbins may be passed together through the guide 7 and doubled on the ring spindle.
