213,138. Levy, L. A. April 23, 1923. Apparatus for making filaments.-The extrusion-plate a is provided with a number of recessed holes d in which the glass spinning - nozzles c are mounted. The nozzles are flanged, the flanges resting on washers f, while annular screw plugs h hold the nozzles in position. A filter-pad g composed of cotton wool supported on fine silk may be interposed between the nozzle and the plug, and a second washer j may be fitted above the pad.
