Windscreens.-In a windscreen or window, particularly for the rear seat of a motor-vehicle of the kind comprising two sections which are adapted either to form a transverse screen or to be used separately as side screens opening and closing with the doors, a support is provided for the pivotally mounted corner of each section i which is arranged to move with the door when the section is used as a side screen or to remain stationary when the screen is arranged transversely. In the construction shown the support consists of a plate f mounted at h upon the hinge-pin c of the door e and provided with a socket j or a peg for engagement with a peg or socket on the screen-section i. When a second peg k and socket l on the screen section and door are brought into engagement, the door, screen section and plate f move in unison, but, when the screen sections are secured in the transverse position as shown in Fig. 1, the plate f remains stationary when the door is opened or closed.
