Fabrics composed of threads united by adhesives. - Glued binding tape is made up of outer layers of parallel threads and an inner cross thread or threads arranged in sinuous fashion. The threads of the outer layers 6, 11, are taken off bobbins 2 - - 5 and 7 - - 10 and passed together with the cross thread 13 between rollers 15. The thread 13 passes through a vibrating guide 16. The sheet of threads then passes into a bath 21 of adhesive, between pressure rollers 20, and then to a drying and reeling device 22. As shown in Fig. 3 more than one tape may be made in the machine.
