Abstract
199,728. Bosch Akt.-Ges., R. June 26, 1922, [Convention date]. Cam-actuated pumps; stroke, varying;, revolving-cylinder pumps. - A lubricator comprises a number of similar superposed pumps 5, 5<1> directly coupled to one another and driven by a common gear 2, 3, 4 arranged in a pedestal 1 supporting the pumps. Each pump comprises a rotor 6 provided with a cylinder 13 in which a piston 8 is reciprocated by cams 11 mounted in a fixed casing 12 and adjustable to vary the stroke. The liquid is drawn into the cylinder from a reservoir 19 through a passage 20 and an annular channel 16 provided with a number of lateral ports adapted to register successively with a channel 14 opening into the cylinder. The liquid is delivered through a, passage 15 to a number of pipes 18 mounted in the casing 12.
