199,168. Bluemel, F. H., and Bluemel Bros., Ltd. March 25, 1922. Handles.-Handles for bicycles &c. comprise a soft rubber tube B which is mounted in an annular depression extending along the greater part of the length of a strawboard or other core C having a celluloid coating A. The rubber tube may be formed by winding hollow rubber cord vulcanized into a unit. The exposed ends A<1>, A<11> may be cylindrical, beaded, or ornamented. The middle part of the celluloid tube under the rubber may be dispensed with, and one end may be closed. The rubber also may be ribbed.
