Anchors.-In stockless anchors of the kind in which separate flukes 3 trunnioned at 5 on the shank 4 are passed through a hole 6 in the head 1 provided with trippers 2, the securing means comprise bolts 7 which engage with aligned grooves in the abutting faces of the fluke and haad, or the bolts are passed transversely through aligned holes in the fluke and head. In another form the bolts 7, Fig. 6 are screwed on the back of the head parallel with the trunnion 5 and take into recesses cut in the ends of the fluke members.
