253,603. Taylor, H. G. March 19, 1925. Addition to 233,456. Anchors. - In anchors of the type in which the shank A is pivoted by a bolt C to a slab or tripping- D which is rigid with the arms B, each arm and the portion of slab symmetrical therewith are forged up from a single billet of metal and the abutting faces E of the halves of the slab e are welded together, one face may be provided also with an undercut groove into which is fitted a dovetail projection on the corresponding end of the other half slab.
