Abstract

193,760. Schmelzer, B. May 23, 1922, Impeller blades.-The blades of an electricallydriven fan have curved cutting edges 4 which are all arranged in a plane at right-angles to the axis of rotation ; they also have curved rear edges 5 with a rearward extension 6 serving to give greater spread to the blast of air. The body 3 of each blade is dished so that a section across the blade at any part is a curved line, and all the edges of each blade are in one plane. The blades are preferably made of sheet brass.
