Abstract
193,016. Soc. Rateau. Feb. 7, 1922, [Convention date]. Casings.-The exhaust-driven turbo-compressor for supplying air to the engine is carried on a hollow-base plate q, which serves as the discharge outlet for the fan. The base plate is mounted on an extension of the engine crank-case o, into which extension is built an air inlet r. This arrangememt of compressor is stated to be applicable to compressors driven by the main engine. Specification 193,017. [Class 7 (ii), Internalcombustion engines, Arrangement &c. of], is referred to.
