9799. Bailey, W. J. July 6. Boxes made from special blanks; bands, strengthening; handles; ventilating boxes. - Cardboard or other receptacles are constructed from a blank cut and scored as shown in Fig. 1, the sides a<1> and ends a<2> being folded up and the flaps a<3> being bent around the ends. A second blank has portions b, b<1>, Fig. 2, to strengthen the central portions of the bottom and sides of the receptacle. and parts b<3> which may be joined to form a handle, and a strip is bent around the rim of the receptacle, the various parts being secured by wire stapling or stitching. Ventilating-holes d are provided.
