20,217. Finkelstone, B. Sept. 26. Luggage-carriers.-A casing for carrying food, drink, and other articles upon cycles &c. is attached to the frame of the machine and is formed with one or more receptaclesj, k, l for liquids and with compartments c, d, e fitted with doors f, g. The receptacles have filling-screws n and draw off taps m, m<1>, m<2>, and one side a<1> of the casing is hinged for the purpose of providing access to the interior. A removable receptacle p is also preferably provided in the casing, and a small door is fitted in the side a' so that the taps m, m' may be reached without opening the side. When detached from the machine, the casing may be used as a table, and for this purpose legs normally carried upon the casing are removed and then fitted therein in a vertical position, as by screwing into sockets. In order to prevent shaking or rattling, plate springs or the like may be fitted inside the doors to press upon the articles. According to the Provisional Specification, the outlet nozzles and cocks of the receptacles lead into a common pipe or spout, and the feet or legs may be jointed to one side of the casing so that they may be turned out when the device is to be used as a table.
