Abstract
187,637. Mann, H. R. July 21, 1921. Mop-wringers.-In a mop of the kind comprising mop strands c<1> secured at one end to a mop stick a and at the other end to a sleeve b, the strands are drawn together tightly by a binding wire or ring d<1> or by a clamp to form an absorbent covering c<2> for the lower end of the stick. The mop may be used with the strands hanging loosely or, as shown, drawn tightly along the stick. Projections may be provided on the stick and sleeve to prevent slipping of the binding wire securing the mop strands, and in addition, the stick may be recessed. Instead of the stick a a hollow tube mav be employed. Indicator marks may be provided on both parts a, b, these marks being opposite each other when there is no twist on the strands.
