Abstract
183,093. Babcock & Wilcox, Ltd., and Spyer, A. Jan. 6, 1922. Generating by indirect contact of heated gases. -The exhaust gases of a Diesel or other internalcombustion engine are led into one of the flue passes of an oil-fired steam-generator of the Babcock and Wilcox type. Exhaust gases are discharged from a pipe E into a boiler above the water-tubes C, and are directed by baffles F into the second flue pass. In modifications, the gases are led into the first and last passes.
