Abstract

171,551. British Mathews, Ltd., and Hannaford, C. Sept. 10, 1920. Roller-ways.-A coupling-member adapted to engage contacting ends of the side bars of roller-way conveyer sections in such a manner that the side bars may be reversed and coupled comprises a boxshaped coupling-member C, the ends of which are adapted to engage slots b<1> in the side members when the coupling-member is moved upwards into position. The height of the outer side of the coupling-member is made equal to the depth of the side bars, and the member is secured to the bars by bolts d passed through holes in the member and bars, the holes in the bars being countersunk on the inner surface to receive the boltheads and to leave the inner surface flush.
