Abstract
164,435. Stubbs, E., and Stubbs, E. C. Feb. 24, 1920. Look-out shelters and wind-shields.-In order to remove snow or prevent condensation of moisture on a wind-screen or look-out for vehicles, ships, or air-craft, the screen A provided on one surface with a second transparent sheet of material B and the space between the two sheets is heated by means of electric ccnductors f, f<1>, f<2> arranged across and preferably between the two sheets A, B. In the arrangement shown, the wires are arranged in groups of three wires in parallel, the groups being connected in series between the terminals E, E<1>. A rubber packing strip D at the edge of the sheet B prevents access of moisture to the space between the sheets.
