Abstract
317,158. Neale, J. May 31, 1928. Light-sensitive cells.-In a selenium cell the electrodes A are formed of thin sheet metal, preferably with interlacing spike-like fingers B. The electrodes are either embedded in insulating material C such as a bituminous compound, cellulose acetate, or a casein compound, or sandwiched between a pair of insulating plates, one of which at least must be translucent and is preferably of glass. Rivets D may he provided for greater security and for the attachment of leads E. Specifications 284,942, 307,086 and 315,907 are referred to.
