Abstract

162,854. Brampton, F. W. Feb. 27, 1920. Flooring-blocks are composed of small strips of wood, alternately of different depths, which are united by metal rods 2 in addition to gluing, and assembled so as to form grooves on the under surface to key with a cement support. The blocks are surfaced and trued when assembled, and dovetail grooves may be formed by cutting away the strips 1 as shown at 5. The wires 2 are secured by riveting over washers, or by spreading 0 bifurcated ends.
