Abstract

1518692 Cable attachments BRITAX (WINGARD) Ltd 2 June 1976 [31 July 1975] 32082/75 Heading D1T An end attachment for a cable. Fig. 2, comprises a cylindrical body 1 having a recessed end 2 to receive the cable, the other end 3 of the body having been flattened to form a pair of oppositely upstanding projections 4, 5. These projections may be circular in cross-section. In Fig. 4 a cable 6 covered with plastics 7 has a bared end swaged into the recessed end 2 of the cable attachment. The cable attachment is used to form part of a buckle that includes a pair of plates 8, 9' that are apertured to receive the projections 4, 5. The outer ends of the projections 4, 5 are peened over the plates 8, 9 to secure the end attachment to the buckle.
