Abstract

1516560 Darts DRK Ltd 10 May 1977 [13 Aug 1976] 33757/76 Heading A6S A dart comprises a metal point 1 and a metal shaft 3 connected to a metal barrel 2a, 2b, and, a metal flight holder 4 connected to the shaft 3; the shaft 3 being press-fitted directly into the barrel and the flight holder. The barrel may be made of tungsten copper, the shaft and/or flight holder of titanium and the point of silver steel. Again, the shaft may be constructed from stainless steel, thin wall tubing and the barrel part 2a composed of titanium. The parts 2a, 2b are screw threaded to-gether with an O-ring locking device 7 therebetween but in a modification the barrel is made in one-piece.
