Abstract

1505595 Anchor nuts FUTTERS (LONDON) Ltd 15 Dec 1976 [24 Dec 1975 9 March 1976] 52839/75 and 09330/76 Heading F2H A wall anchor comprises a tubular collar 1, a square nut 6 spaced from and coaxial with the outer collar and having a diagonal dimension not greater than the external diameter of the collar, four axially extending outwardly bowed deformable legs 3 each joining a respective side of the nut 6 to the collar 1, and a flange 4 extending radially outwardly from the collar 1. A square skirt 8 is welded to the nut 6, and the skirt 8, legs 3, and collar 1 are formed from a single sheet metal stamping. The flange 4 is formed of a washer spot-welded to the collar, and has spikes 5 on its underside which enter a partition in which the anchor is being secured, to prevent rotation of the anchor.
