Abstract
150,457. Sims, C. H. Dec. 10, 1919. Valves.-The inlet valve 3 is mounted in the hollow stem of the exhaust valve 1, which is arranged centrally in the detachable cylinder head 2. The exhaust valve stem has inlet apertures 16 which register with apertures 15 in a bush 14 when the valve is on its seat, and are closed when the valve is open during the exhaust stroke. The two valves are separately depressed by the valve-gear.
