Abstract

206,018. Anderson, R. E., and Larson, O. G. Nov. 6, 1922. Valves; valve gear.-Two concentric valves 15, 17 in the cylinder head are oscillated in opposite directions and control inlet by ports 21, 23, 25 and exhaust by ports 22, 24, 26. The valves are provided with stems 16, 18 fitted with radial arms 45, 46, which are connected by links 47 to a sliding crosshead 41, 43 engaging a cam rib or groove 35 on the cam shaft 27.
