1500935 Washing fruit and vegetables VISH MINNO-GEOLOSHKI INSTITUTE NIS 19 Feb 1975 [19 Feb 1974] 7083/75 Heading A4C [Also in Divisions B1, D1 and F4] Apparatus for agitating a liquid or suspension comprises a first chamber 1 for the liquid to be agitated located above a second chamber 2 having an inlet for a fluid C (usually air), the chambers being separated by a partition 3 having at least one valve (as shown, plates 5); in operation, the pressure is adjusted so that the valve(s) continuously open(s) and close(s). The embodiment shown has a grid 15 and may be used for washing clothes; a perforated vessel may be placed over the grid for washing fruit and vegetables, or one with slots for washing dishes.
