Abstract

1486457 Valves BARKING BRASSWARE CO Ltd 19 Dec 1974 54951/74 Heading F2V A water fitting such as a tap comprises a body 1 with a spout 6 and a detachable shroud 2 fitted over the body and spout to conceal at least the greater part of the latter. The body has ledges 19 (14) Fig. 7 (not shown) and ridges (15) which engage the shroud edges when it is fitted over the tap with the handle of the latter extending through an aperture (3) Fig. 3 (not shown) and engaging spacer blocks (7) around the aperture. A circlip 21 keeps the shroud in place on the tap. The body is fabricated in plastics material and is the subject of Specification 1,464,722.
