1306343 Valves APV CO Ltd 16 Nov 1971 [13 Jan 1971] 1740/71 Heading F2V A float controlled flow valve comprising a pivoted flap valve member 5 with a closure plate 7 and a sealing ring 8 and a lever 6 which carries a float (not shown) is provided with a concave cam surface 9 on the valve member which is engageable with a follower surface 10 on the lever. The flap valve may be pivoted above the inlet 3, as shown, or may be pivoted below or at one side of the inlet.
