Abstract

1,217,872. Sanitary traps. McALPINE & CO. Ltd. and J. E. McALPINE. 3 July, 1969 [9 April, 1968], No. 17033/68. Heading E1C. [Also in Division F2] A generally V-shaped trap has a telescopic inlet with an extension 11 located in an adjusted position by a flanged nut 15 and seal 16 seated in the internally flared end of leg 10, and a reversible angled outlet 20 fixed to the upwardly-extending leg 13 by a flanged nut 19 bearing against a peripheral rib 18 on leg 13. A seal 25 is located between the end of the outlet 20 and the rib 18. The outlet 20 has limbs 21 and 22 of unequal length.
