Abstract

1482422 Electrostatographic cleaning apparatus XEROX CORP 5 Nov 1974 [12 Nov 1973] 47863/74 Heading G2H An apparatus 10 for cleaning imaging material from an imaging surface 12 comprises a cleaning belt 16 in the form of a m÷bius band whose edge 18, 20 is adapted to move across the surface 12 by supporting the belt 16 on pulleys 22, 24. A brush 30 cleans the edge of the belt 16 and a bar lubricant applicator 32, is also provided as is a belt guide 26. The belt 16 comprises a sheet steel central portion with elastomeric material on the edge.
