Abstract
1465598 Ironing presses NORMBAU GmbH MASCHINEN-APPARATE-WERKZEUGE & CO KG MASCHINENFABRIK 20 Nov 1974 [22 Nov 1973] 50306/74 Heading D1A [Also in Division F4] A garment pressing machine especially for garments having a lining has a steaming and blowing dolly 2 with shoulder rests 3 and means 4 for holding the hem, the distance between the shoulder rest and the hem holding means being variable. A piston and cylinder 24, 14 (Fig. 2) raise a rod 27 to raise the shoulder rest to the required height, and two clamping arms 11a, 11b (Fig. 3), pivoted on a plate 23, are tightened round a clamping sleeve 10 surrounding the piston rod 14 to hold the shoulder rest in position. One clamping arm (11a) is fixed to a cylinder 7, and the other is biassed away from it by a spring 27 but pulled tighter by lock nuts 22 on a piston rod 17. A control device 18 is provided for automatically controlling the valves in the pressurised-medium supply lines. The hem holding part can be moved in preference to the shoulder rest.
