Abstract

146,111. Nobili, F. P. de. June 24, 1919, [Convention date]. Void [Published under Sect. 91 of the Act]. Letter-boxes.-A receptacle 1 for letters &c. has an inlet opening 3 normally closed by a flap 4 pivoted at 5 in the sides of the receptacle, the portion of the flap below the pivots being heavier than the upper portion; the flap rests on a projection 7 on the outside of the casing. When the flap is pulled upwards for the insertion of letters &c., the lower portion of the flap swings forwards into a projection 9 on the casing and prevents access to the contents of the casing. A door 2 with a lock 11, inspection window 12, and card opening 8 is provided at the bottom of the casing.
