A toy glider made from at least one sheet of flat material and having a wing and a body, has clamping means for holding the wing and body together, and a hook associated with the clamping means. The clamping means and hook may be combined in a single wire, &c, clip. In one form a glider body portion 15, Fig. 11, of sheet material scored and cut as shown, is folded along a crease line 17 to register a hole 18 with a hole 19. The body portion 15 is then laid on a separate wing portion 13 of sheet material with its crease line 17 coincident with a crease line 23. Panels 28, 28' of the wing portion are folded-in along crease lines 24, 24' and panels 30, 30' folded-in along the same crease lines to register holes 27, 27' with holes 20, 20' in the body 15. A middle panel 32 is folded-in along a crease line 23 over the front end of the body portion 15 to register a hole 25 both with the coincident holes 18, 19 of the body portion, and also with a hole 26. During this later operation, a wire hook and clamp 2, Figs. 6, 7, is inserted through the hole 26, along between the body portion 15 and the middle panel 32, is splayed to Y-shape, and its ends 9 bent over the top of the folded wing portion, Fig. 9.
