Abstract

A clip for attaching a moulding 11 to a support 12 having a headed stud 13 projecting therefrom comprising a body portion having a slot 15 open at one end and forming two resilient jaw portions 16, 17 for engaging flanges 22, 23 on the moulding wherein the slot is narrower intermediate its length then at its ends and terminates at the other end in a part circular recess in the body portion and wherein the outer oppositely facing edges 20, 21 of the jaw portions are undercut towards the undersurface of the body portion. The body portion has a parallel sided slot opposite the first slot and forms two resilient arms with undercut edges aligned with edges 20, 21. The moulding engages the undercut edges of the jaws and arms and is clamped between them and the support 12. The clip may be bowed about the longitudinal axis. The clip may be made of plastics.
