Abstract

1443469 Weft storage SULZER BROS Ltd 8 Oct 1973 [9 Oct 1972] 46820/73 Heading D1E Weft i's drawn into a loop by a roller 8 which is moved transversely to its axis and driven in the direction of movement of the yarn passing around the roller. The roller 8 may be driven faster or slower than the speed of the yarn passing around it. There may be a plurality of such rollers 8 (Figures 3 and 4) or the roller may circulate on a (belt (52) Figure 5 (not shown) running around pulley wheels. Weft insertion may be by air or water jet or gripper shuttle.
