Abstract

144,058. Eastwood, R. May 10, 1919. Wind-screens.-The back seat of a motor-car is provided with a flexible covering or lattice 8 which is arranged to slide horizontally in guides 6. In the collapsed position, it is housed in a box 11 behind the front seats. The lattice passes over a roller 9, and its lower edge is attached to the spring roller 10. The front edge of the lattice is attached to a wind-screen 4. The guide-members 6 may be arranged to fold or hinge parallel with the screen when in the collapsed position.
