Moulds for building.--A jig for use in the construction of boats comprises a skeleton framework 1 including stringers 2 and side members 3 on which are mounted detachable side stringer carriers 4, which slide vertically in relation to the side members 3 and are sustained by clips 6. The completed boat is thus readily removed from the jig. Guides 7, 7a on the members 3 and carriers 4 receive the coamings 8 and gunwales 9 as shown. Gaps are provided longitudinally in the jig to receive the bulkheads and thwarts.
