Abstract

1427924 Transducer mountings LUCAS ELECTRICAL CO Ltd 12 June 1973 [17 March 1972] 12530/72 Heading G1N A mounting for a transducer, e.g. a Piezo-electric accelerometer, comprises an electrically insulating block 10 to which the transducer may be fixed by any of threaded holes 17 and a metal base 13 screwed and glued to the block. The base has a contour matching that of a body to which the transducer mounting is to be fixed, and a gap is left between the base and the bottom of block 10 through which a strap may be passed to facilitate mounting. The block 10 may be of nylon filled with glass or asbestos.
