Abstract
1416755 Duplication set KORES HOLDING ZUG AG 18 Sept 1973 [21 Sept 1972] 43698/73 Heading D2B In a duplication set comprising a transfer sheet and a copy sheet, the transfer sheet has an upper surface suitable for writing upon and a lower surface provided with a pressure-sensitive transfer coating comprising an acidic substance and the copy sheet has its upper surface provided with a coating comprising a dyestuff precursor capable of reacting with the acidic substance to form a coloured substance and a binder for the dyestuff precursor. The acidic substance may be a clay a phenol, or a polyvalent metal salt. The dye precursor may be a diaryl phthalide e.g. crystal violet lactone. The latter may be used with benzoyl leucomethylene blue. The invention also comprises an intermediate sheet for use with such duplication sets, said sheet having its lower surface provided with a transfer coating and its upper surface with a dyestuff-precursor coating as described above.
