Abstract

1404720 Transformer LANDIS & GYR AG 16 March 1973 [22 March 1972] 12726/73 Heading HIT [Also in Division H4] A transformer comprises primary coils 4 and 5, and secondary coils 6 and 7, all coils being axially movable relative to each other. The coils are dipped in synthetic resinous plastics and have moulded plastics parts 8, 9 and 15, 16 on screwed plastics bolts 10 and 17 respectively. Parts 8 and 9 are at 120 degrees to 15 and 16 so that the coils are coaxial and nuts 11-14 and 18-21 allow axial adjustment of each coil. The primary coils are in series and the secondary coils are in series or parallel. Three such transformers are used for 3-phase networks. The transformer is used in a ripple control system (see Division H4).
