Abstract

1389236 Vehicle transporters ANTHONY CARRIMORE Ltd 20 June 1973 [20 June 1972] 28806/72 Heading B7B A two-tier car transporter has the upper deck 9 pivotally mounted at its front end by a spindle 8 engaging a trunnion 7 slidable in a pair of channel members 6 at each side of the transporter, the upper deck being raisable when loaded by hydraulic rams 14. Pivoted links 15 act as guides, the lower links having arms 18 provided with apertures for receiving bolts 19 which retain the upper deck in raised position. A retractable ramp 20 is provided on the lower deck. When not occupied, the upper deck may be lowered to the broken line position for carrying goods other than vehicles.
