Abstract

1375590 Jib cranes CLARK EQUIPMENT CO 22 Dec 1972 [23 Dec 1971] 59471/72 Heading B8B [Also in Division E1] A vehicle mounted crane comprises a jib 22 mounted for luffing on a superstructure 18 carried on a vehicle bed 12 by a slewing ring assembly 20. An operator's cab 26, shown in the operating position, is nested into a cavity 44 in the superstructure 18 for transport, being mounted on a parallel linkage 28 for this purpose. A flexible control communication cord extends from the cab 26 to power sources in the superstructure 18. As shown a crane hook 24 is provided; but this may be replaced by a bucket or other material moving device.
