Abstract

1374546 Anchoring bolts VIREMO-WERKE Gebr HERMANNS METALLWARENFABRIK 5 Jan 1973 [8 Jan 1972] 781/73 Heading F2H [Also in Division E1] An anchoring devce for suspending facing panels from an external wall of a building comprises a flat metal strap 1 the upper part of which is inclined at an obtuse angle to the lower part and is provided with a longitudinal slot 13. A clamping plate 10 extends across the upper part and is provided with serrated edge surfaces 12 which co-operate with corresponding serrated edge surfaces on the sides of the slot and/or on the external edges of the strap. A nut 11 clamps the plate 10 and the strap to the face of the building in which is embedded a channel 6 by means of a bolt 8 engaged in the channel. The strap may be in two parts longitudinally adjustable by means of a bolt 17 and nut 15 to position a facing slab in which the lower hooked end 4 is embedded.
