Abstract

1371554 Cameras PENTACON DRESDEN KAMERA-UND KINOWERKE VEB 10 Aug 1972 37396/72 Heading G2A An SLR camera for use with inter-changeable objectives 13 having non-preselectable or preselectable diaphragms has a photo-electrically controlled galvo pointer 4 and a pointer 5 whose position is determined by a projection 12 on the lens 13; the correct aperture being set when the pointers 4, 5 are in alignment. If the objective has a non-preselectable diaphragm, projection 12 is fixed and the diaphragm is stopped down to move galvo pointer 4 into alignment with pointer 5. If the objective has a pre-selecting ring 11, projection 12 is moved by ring 11 to move pointer 5 into alignment with pointer 4. In either case the galvo 3 is initially moved to point to the required shutter speed on a scale 2. Fig. 3 (not shown) shows an alternative embodiment.
