Abstract

1369319 Feeding sheets PENTACON DRESDEN KAMERA-UND KINOWERKE VEB 18 Oct 1972 47899/72 Heading B8R Sheets 2 are separated in turn from the top of a pile 1 by an intermittently rotated friction roller 6 projecting downwards through an aperture in the lower surface 5 of a suction box 4, the roller and surface 5 defining suction slits 3 through which suction is applied to raise the top sheet into contact with the roller. The surface 5 is curved away from the pile to assist the prevention of double feed. The surface 5 and a front pile support wall 7 continue into a feed channel 8, along which a separated sheet is fed by further friction or suction rollers.
