Abstract

1364717 Forcing liquids by gaseous pressure FUJIWARA MFG Co Ltd 11 Oct 1971 [13 Oct 1970 17 March 1971 13 April 1971] 47269/71 Heading F1R A pumping trap 1 has inlet and outlet valves 11 for the liquid and inlet and exhaust valves 29, 30 for the pressurizing fluid. The valves 29, 30 are fluid-pressure actuated under the control of a float actuated pilot valve 48. The float 17 operates in a float chamber 16 connected to the liquid chamber by a dip tube 18 and through anon-return gas valve 22 whereby the chamber 16 remains full until the main chamber 3 empties. As shown the valves are actuated by bellows members. In other embodiments plate, and plate and bellows valves are used.
