Abstract

1362386 Treatment of textiles with liquids EUGEN BELLMAN GmbH MASCHINENFABRIK 15 July 1971 33276/71 Heading D1L A cylindrical vessel 1 has a cover 4, opened by pivotal or axial movement, and a perforated rotatable drum 2 within it, having wheels 7 running on tracks 8, the wheels 7 being on a frame in which the drum is mounted, opening of cover 4 causing (or allowing) the drum 2 to be withdrawn from the vessel 1, it is attached to the cover in the embodiment shown. A heat exchanger with connections 17 and 18 for supply and withdrawal of steam, and connections 19 and 20 for supply and withdrawal of water, heats or cools a dye bath which has been introduced into the vessel 1. A fan 23 and heater 24 supplies hot air to dry the textiles after dyeing, the dye bath having been drained away. The drum 2 has a sliding cover for the introduction of, and removal of, the textiles. The vessel has also provision for the production of a vacuum therein.
