Abstract

1355045 Baling machines MASSEY FERGUSON-PERKINS Ltd 8 July 1971 [21 July 1970] 35174/70 Heading B5F A baling machine has an attachment 5 attached to the delivery end 3 of a baling chamber and provided with supporting and locating means 23, (24), 25 adapted to receive and support a bale-forming device 4 in a rearwardly and upwardly inclined attitude. A bale shoot 7 may be mounted on the device 4 for depositing bales in a trailer behind the baler. In Fig. 2 (not shown) the shoot 7 is replaced by a bale thrower (8). The attachment 5 is shown by itself in Fig. 3 and comprises a framework having a pair of side plates 10 each having the shape of a segment of an annulus. Each side plate has inwardly-turned curved flanges forming bale guides at its upper and lower edges.
