Abstract

1344571 Reflex camera with exposure measuring device PENTACON DRESDEN KAMERA-UND KINOWERKE VEB 3 Feb 1972 5202/72 Addition to 1281816 Heading G2A A reflex camera has a photo-electric measuring device in which the light losses are minimised comprising a light guide 4 having one surface integral and parallel with a partially reflective reflex mirror 2 whereby incident light is transmitted through the mirror and reflected out of the light path on to photo-cell 8. The light guide has a first reflecting surface 5 on to which a light flux refracted through the mirror is directed and reflected on to second surface 6 lying at 45 degrees to the axis of the first surface 5. The light flux reflected from the second surface is subsequently total internally reflected towards exit surface 7, the guide being conically formed in this region so as to focus the flux on adjacent photo-cell 8. A further light guide 9 may be placed in front of the photo-cell. At least two further reflecting surfaces may be provided parallel to the first reflecting surface to assist light transmission through the guide Figs.2 and 3 (not shown).
