Abstract

1,203,872. Reflex cameras; light guides. PENTACON DRESDEN KAMERA-UND KINOWERKE. Feb.8, 1968, No.6248/68. Headings G2A and G2J. A reflex camera has a view-finder prism 4 for directing lights from the camera objective into the eye-piece 5 and a light guide 8 between the prism and eye-piece provided with reflecting surfaces effective to receive stray light from the prism and direct it along light paths I, II and III to at least one photo-electric cell 9. The light paths I, II and m are guided by the surfaces 10, 12 and 14 and 11 and 13. The light guide 8 is preferably as disclosed in Specification 1,167,406.
